There is a great deal going on with this gravesite. The central object is a traditional modern upright stone of granite. The carving of four empty chairs on a beach is unique to this stone as the beach was particularly meaningful to the decedent. The theme of chairs is continued on the monument's backside as this would be the true reason for this monument's nomination, and later acceptance, into the Mount Olivet Hall of Fame. The back, or east, side contains a poem called "The Dinner Table," a touching tale of a valuable member missing from the once familiar scene of a nightly meal at theMcGee family household. This was written by the decedent's 15 year-old daughter Katie.

Kristin Carole Olcott McGee, 50, died May 10, 2023 with her family by her side in Washington, DC. She was born May 22, 1972 in Troy, NY to Carole Ann Martin Howard and Douglas Frank Olcott. She attended Shaker High School in Latham, NY, college at SUNY Geneseo in Geneseo, NY and graduate school at Touro College on Long Island. She married her longtime friend and love, Sean McGee, in August of 2000 and they have two wonderful children, Seamus and Kathleen (Katie).
Kristin would do anything for her family and friends and was one of the most thoughtful and caring people you could have ever met. She loved helping people which made her job as a physical therapist for infants and toddlers her passion. She expressed so much joy in helping children overcome their physical difficulties like walking or standing. She loved animals of all kinds and you would be hard pressed to find a picture of her without an animal in it or go to her house and not see her surrounded by her dogs. Kristin's happy place was the beach and she vacationed with friends and family any chance she could.
More than anything else, Kristin loved her family and was the most amazing mother, sister, wife, aunt, niece and daughter. Kristin and Karen shared a very strong twin bond and loved to knit, bake, go shopping together and plan family holidays and vacations. Kristin often spent her weekends when she was not traveling to hockey games or tournaments at her siblings' houses or getting the cousins and grandparents together. As a result of this, her children have strong bonds with each of their eleven cousins, aunts and uncles and grandparents. Kristin was a true hockey mom. She was so proud of Seamus and Katie and could be heard from across the rink screaming their name and cheering them on. She was their biggest fan and fought right up until she passed to spend as much time with them as possible.
Kristin is survived by her husband, Sean McGee, and their two children, Seamus and Kathleen; her mother, Carole Howard; her father, Douglas Olcott, and his wife, Karen Olcott; her identical twin sister Karen and brothers Mark and Gregory, and their spouses Mark Johnson, Molly Olcott and Brigit Gilbert, respectively, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
